What You Do For Me
You first came to me as the “Death Poem”
You made me see how something morbid can be turned into something beautiful
You made me see that words can be manipulated and twisted to create you
Then you left me like wind lets paper sail in the air
But you came back
You came back to me when the fog started to linger
And cement frowns were an everyday feature
You loosen the bend in my frown
And you let the sun come out and play for a while
And you took a new subject on the paper
Grey and blue were no longer the colors that
Filled the page to create you
You taught me how to breathe in the fog
And soak in the sun
Something wrong with this poem?
