What You Gave Me

What you gave me, no one knows. What you showed me, I had to hold. What you said to me, made me cry cold. What magic has crept to the depth of my heart. What mystery am I to withhold. What you bought me, was priceless and old. That kiss you gave me was worth more than I had known. Who is this stranger that has stolen my heart. Why have I started dreaming of this one night. Daylight to me now seems to bright, must it be love at first sight. The greatest feeling, the greatest moment, the greatest emotion. The greatest is all mine. What has happened has happened from the start within my heart.

I wrote this as a junior in high school in 2006. Obviously it is suppose to be about a girl falling so deeply in love with a boy in such a short amount of time, with just a simple secret exposed, love prevails.
