WHAT YOU GAVE ME
What You Given Me
Cream daydreams is what you given me,
I have no problem taken you in to this heart of mine,
I have no words, no tears when it comes to you,
Love is so near;
My heart within me is like a stone
Is numbed too much for hopes or fears of long ago
But know more you gave my poor heart hope,
Look right, look left, I dwell alone sometime ago
But no more;
I shield my eyes with dimmed with grief of a love
That hurt me bad,
But that was so long in the past,
My life is like the falling leaf of September,
But no more you are my hero a dream come true.
