Is that what you heard?

To be quite honest, that doesn't surprise me.

Not many know, 

what really happened in that scoiety.

It's what they all assume,

that she was a "damsel in distress",

but believe it or not,

you've never heard the rest!

Poor sleeping beauty,

just needed a break.

But a "hero" flew in,

and made his biggest mistake.

You see,

sleeping beauty needed no help. 

The poor, tired girl was just napping, 

before being awoken by an obnoxious yelp.

The truth is she had worked hard all day,

but didn't panic because she knew what to do.

Take a nap of course! 

Wouldn't you do that too? 

She must've needed help!

Is that what you heard?

None of that is true,

you must be assured.

There was not a curse,

nor some mysterious spell.

Sleeping beauty was just taking a break,

before back to reality she fell.

It's funny to see,

all the different stories created.

So far Sleeping Beauty has admitted,

every single fake story she's hated.

A girl hard at work,

is that so hard to believe?

Some people always seem to think,

that she was lonely and needed to be relieved.

But Sleeping Beauty,

enjoyed her alone time.

So the knight in shining amour,

really had committed a crime.

Waking a woman from her beauty sleep,

what was he thinking?

The few that know the truth,

want to know what on earth he was drinking.

Some crazy stories have formed,

like the one about the bird!

How the bird really saved her life,
