What You Mean To Me

They way your eyes crease when you smile

And how your smile curves,

To describe this feeling,

I have no words

You’d tell me good morning

You’d tell me good night

Two simple words

Making my day alright

I told you a small thing over a year ago

I thought you wouldn’t remember

So it surprised me that you did

And even told me about others

I wasn’t ready to to tell you about my past

I was scared that you’d judge me

But after I opened up to you,

You were so understanding

You’re the first to treat me as an equal

I really appreciate it

I’ve never felt this way about anyone before

And because I love you, I said it
