What is Your Beautiful?

 Look in the mirror

What do you see?

I see radiance

I see an inner beauty unable to be tarnished

I see a firecracker of a girl lit by the wildfire of her wit

I see where she’s been broken and how she put herself back together

The tracks of her tears along the cracks

I see the remnants of the hatred she felt for herself before acceptance took root

I see the blurred lines where she tried to re-write her story

I see the parts of her she keeps locked way slowly slipping through their chains

Taking shape and manifesting in her character

I see her outer beauty

I see the way she smiles so easily, the different types she gives

I see the way her inner beauty shines through

Enhancing the outer beauty, her radiance

I see love

I see her past, her shame, her heart

I see me

The real me when I look in the mirror

What is your beautiful?

My beautiful is an ever-evolving stain glass window

Growing with every experience, uniquely me
