What is your King?

When you're a student 

Theory is King.

We discuss theory, 

We are tested on theory,

And all of our knowledge 

Is theoretical. 

But when the time comes 

And you are face-to-face 

With a 5-year-old boy,

Theory goes out the window. 

Suddenly, your new King 

Is a small stuffed bear

Or a bottle of bubbles

Or whatever it is you can use 

To keep his attention

And give him the help he needs.

This is when theory 

Becomes reality. 

This is when you grow up.
