What's an aesthetic worth?

There's no filter for real life,
no hashtag for the pain.

Without Lomo-fi, I am just a w a s h e d o u t statistic; a percent s%gn.
Without Hefe, I am just a child of an alcoholic trying to survive;
                                                                                                         trying to thrive.

Without Earlybid, I am a struggling student; a depressed 4.0
Without X-Pro II, I am college bound (and bound to fail).

Without Sutro, I am still a strong woman; but never as strong as a weak man.
Without Lily, I am beating the odds; but the odds sometimes beat me.

Without Toaster, I still love dogs; they never tell me I've dissapointed them.
Without Inkwell, I love the summer sky; the sun burns the poision from my veins.

Without 1977, I respect my elders; but do they respect me?
Without Gotham, I give unto the world; the world t a k e s from me.

Without Nashville, I dance in my room to pop music; (is dance a euphemusim for cry?)
Without Brannan, I was raised under less and taught to be more; "100% is the least you can do".

Without Apollo, I love my family; ...when did family go b e y o n d blood?
Without Lord Kelvin, I am living selflessly; but i still want.

Without Walden, I live to be good; I've forgotten its definition.
Without Valencia, I'm doing my best; I love myself, is that okay?

There is no filter for life,
but I like to believe I'm Original.
