What's the Diagnosis?

Everyone has a diagnostic

Why does everything have to have a label

Making everything seem so plastic

Why can't it just be a characteristic

Gotta make everything seem so drastic.

Went to college

Got a Phd

Why?

Just so you can label me with ADD

Could have just ignored it

And called it me being me

Most of the world has it

So why bother

Prescribing medication

Save it for a dying father

Every teenager going through a rough patch

Goes to their doctor

But they don't tell you

It'll just pass

They give you drugs

So you can feel numb

Can't feel the hurt

This is why your generation is weak

Can't stick it out

To see your real worth

Need to fill your body

With artificial feelings

What you really need to do

Is to come back down to earth.
