what's in a mug? maybe love

he gave me this mug the love mug. we called it love like we were in forever and always. so he said. that was before. before the things that cannot be undone before the lies that cannot be unsaid before the hurt that lives on after the love. i broke that mug today the love mug, it broke like my heart like our love. and i learned from that mug today, what's broken can be fixed. my brokenness is not the end. but for the mug, it is.
