College is coming up like the stuff that bubbles up From volcanoes in places I've never been to Will I like it? Will it be good? I'm kind of scared. I never thought I would grow up this fast And leave my nest at this frantic pace Will I find a new niche? Will birds of a feather flock together? I don't know what to think Maybe I'll soar above the ground And find friends and opportunities all around But maybe I'll crash and burn, have nowhere To turn-it's my turn to grow up I've never done this before If I land there like a whale washed up on a beach Will I plummet to the ground or reach my peak?
