What's the Point of Comparing Myself?

I'm not exactly the prettiest flower in the bouquet,

Engrossed in perky pageant petals.

But I mustn't compare myself.
Because I was bought with my floral friends,
And I will wilt with them as well-
Which deems comparing as an action most unnecessary.
