WHATS A WAR

Whats a war without the tears of mothers

faithless bow to gods of sin

fools are we that lead our brothers

fully armed to never win

weve seen the wicked and the mighty

stand together hand in hand

that we hardly could decifer

the chosen from the damned

A never ending cycle

full of hatred and despair

easily avoided if we

took the time to care

You rise above the pain of others

never stop to realize

its the pain of lonely lovers

crushed beneath the weight of lies

Hatred learned through generations

noone dares put up a fight

blinded eyes lead our salvation

but cant tell left from right

collecting scars like precious memories

bleeding wounds that never heal

because you never thought to care

Its your pain they wont feel
