What's Wrong With Me?

The way you walk in step leaves a distant echo only you can hear

Too distant for my deformed ears

If I get close enough, will I catch on to the tune?

If I hover long enough, I may catch some lyrics

I know it's obvious that what I'm repeating back is a pathetic excuse

I know it's obvious that I'm a fraud

I know I'm obvious
