When
For hours on end
I begin
To take the ballpoint of the pen
To try to write again
Its like my mind has a messenger sent
To my tongue, to deliver a messege unwritten
Mentally
There's a wall that lyrically is killing me.
I see the top of the mental rock
Take a moment to stop
look at the clock
and watch as time ticks away
Leaving my message written with only one word on the title page
when?
Where do i begin
to move this pen
to write again
My mind is on a Merry go round spin
circling one question
trying to wrap itself around the start of a new lyrical session
questing
for the first rhyme
on the first line
But the words arent hitting me, i dont have any shots left for the foul play, no words to say, i deserve a few shots from the foul line
Im aiming for the World Peace
inside me
But like in reality
I cant hold onto these files, information thats out of my reach
I search my mind with a night light
While i write
In the dark unaware
That inside these dark caves sleep roariong bears
And if i open up the cage
And let loose this rage
Then my lines will turn your mind like the last word on the first page
Focus straightforward like Osman the Sage
If i can unlock
This mental block
Then I can stand the test of time to drop
words that turn minds'
Like dimes
And unwind
The winding and grinding gears that grind time
When i begin to send
Signals down to the end
of the ball point tip of the pen
and write unspoken
messages from you to me
Then youll understand that I employed Hermes
I make sure you heard me because im working to set these words free
Lyrically
I write to provide you insight from lyrical scripture
See the picture
and hang it on your mind like a fixture
When I write, I turn over your cold stones
and break the backbone of false tomes
and leave your mind hanging over a payphone
When i write, I'm might not reach Drake
But i can still make you catch feelings, Crying Too Much when I break your mind with mental earthquakes
When i write look, to my left and my right,
and youll see that theres few that stand at my height
