Doubt
Doubt has awoken in its resting place.
Hear me when I say...
Doubt has awoken in its resting place.
With our blood and joy in its hands,
Destroying what we seek to change is its master plan.
We greet each morning
The sun meets our skin without warning.
God's breeze is a swift peace we embrace.
But doubt is still awoken in its resting place .
Our fears are the recipe for mental starvation.
A love for the money is what planted this nation.
There is a safe space for our comfort, from sleeping in the dark too long.
A place where we stand tall in our dreams and shrink once the night is gone.
Television tell visions of the ideal human,
No matter how consuming.
We refuse to be the water to stop the flames from fueling.
When will we become the giant outside your minds ruling?
