When All Is Destroyed

If I'm running

Does that mean I'm cunning

Or just a fool

And slightly a toole

Pastor, pastor

Redeem me faster

I've been a little curious

And it's making people furious

Princesses stuck in towers

Lovers give lots of flowers

The sight of the devil's eye

And the blow of his heavy sigh

Leaves us to ponder death

Until our last breath

As the dancers twirl

The stars begin to swirl

A storm begins to rage

As the demons take the stage

Then everything is quiet

Just before the final riot

Screams of lightning

Are quite frightening

As thunder roars

From the sky it pours

The ocean crashes

As life smashes

Bones break

Lives at stake

Bridges disappear

All that's left is fear

When all has been lost

You may count the final cost

Sprained and broken limbs

Come to sing their final hymes

The orphaned child

Sees this as mild

For the storms ahead

Much blood will be shed

Just smile and nod

As they pray to their God

Drowning in the pain

And crying through the rain

The angels have met defeat

The true power is deceit

The ring of the victory bell

Starts the parade to hell

First goes the church

Knocked from its high perch

Next goes the politics

Then the local hicks

Along with the Whore

And every child she bore

Then the working man

And his entire clan

Last the creators of art

And all else with a beating heart

Until there is not a thing

But a cold sting

When all is destroyed

The devil is finally deployed
