When Bottom Hits

Everything seems lost

I thought I was on the right path

Everything was falling into place

Then my life was flipped upside down

One thing was left

My faith in God

I have to keep moving forward

At no cost

Thats what the Army had taught me

Adapt and Overcome

Mind set and discipline

The keys to survivng

No time to complain

Life hits everyone hard

Theres always someone who has it worse

Then why am I complaining

I am still alive

I still have the will to go on

I still have family, and friends

I still above all have God

So slap myself

Face this world with all I got

Tell myself i can do it

All you need is faith in yourself

I keep moving forward

Just like in a ruckmarch

One foot in front of the other

Never look back
