when the clouds turn gray
oh look, the sun is hiding from me.
oh look, the people are going inside.
oh look, the plants are dying.
oh look, the animals scurry away.
wherever i step, everything dies.
wherever i go, everything hides.
tears may fall down the cheeks.
but you may never understand.
see the bright smile on her face.
but never wonder beneath thy breast.
wherever i step, everything dies.
wherever i go, everything hides.
getting yelled at one by one.
criticizing each and every one.
shooting hearts like it’s a piece of crap.
crushing it like small slices of mango
wherever i step, everything dies.
wherever i go, everything hides.
two by two, i walk along.
alone in the darkness hall.
that extremely lonely feeling stays.
on cloudy days and every day.
wherever i step, everything dies.
wherever i go, everything hides.
i’m alone and cold;
but yet still warm.
i’m hurt and ill;
but yet still laugh.
i’m crushed and broken.
but yet still hold;
i’m hated and teased.
but yet still love;
i’m stupid and dumb;
but yet still try.
i’m crying and depressed;
but yet still smile.
wherever i step, everything dies.
wherever i go, everything hides.
