WHEN EAST DIVORCED WEST

WHEN EAST DIVORCED WEST

(by AYESHA KHALID)

(PART 1)

IT WAS A DREAM OF MANY
PAKISTAN CAME IN TO EXISTENCE AS A MYSTERY
MANY WANTED TO CHANGE THIS COURSE OF HISTORY

PAKISTAN MADE ABUNDANCE TO CRY
IT WAS PAIN IN THE NECK OF ANTI ISLAM EVERY
IT WAS INDIGESTIBLE TO SO MUCH IN THEIR BELLY

INDIA BECAME OUR NEIGHBOR UNLUCKILY
BENGALI FELL IN TO IT'S TRAP UNFORTUNATELY
THE TRAP WAS LAID AND BAIT WAS TAKEN UP BY THE ARMY

THEY MASTERMINDED AND THREW AROUND BRIBERY
THEY COMPROMISED THE SOVEREIGNTY OF PAKISTAN AND BECAME GREEDY
MONEY LURES AND EXPLOITS MANY IN TO A DARK IMMORALITY

IT IS SO SAD AND NASTY
IT WAS RESULT OF DECISIONS MADE HASTY
IT IS THE PRICE PAID FOR ACQUIRING INDEPENDENCE AND LIBERTY
