When The End Comes

Firm I will stand

Firm I may fall.

Whether I deny the truths

Or decide to believe anything at all.

Technology consumes your time.

Time consumes my years.

Often lost in my mind

And constantly driven by my fears.

Learning from mistakes

Yet, coincidently making them again.

Then determining to get it right

For I must lose to win.

Giving back to those around me

For I feel something inside

Meeting and greeting great people

In me, they confide.

For I know not their struggles

Only of mine

Though I may have dark days

I always have some shine.

And...

Firm I have fallen

But one day I have won

when God opens the gates for me

and says, "Well Done."
