When Fog Fell

darkest night and brightest light deepest pain and true delight smallest gift, greatest worth when fog fell upon the earth we were lost, bound to grope we found at last a ray of hope but dark fog fell upon our day and hope was cruelly snatched away Glory came but Glory died the Lamb of God, crucified tears and pain and misery evil found its victory darkest night and deepest pain his blood has left a bitter stain whisper soft, never tell twas the night when fog fell darkest night but brightest light deepest pain becomes delight smallest gift, greatest worth when fog fell upon the earth all as lost, He was slain what did He have to gain? love for one so small as I this is why a King would die? but even death could not hold He the One who died, the Almighty breaks the bonds and holds the key over death was victory! He is light for darkest night He has placed in me delight He gave that of countless worth when fog fell upon the earth
