When Heaven Whispered Back”

I prayed in the dark where words felt too small to reach past the ceiling of my fear. And still, I waited— not for thunder, but for something quieter than doubt. There were days I believed silence meant absence, that God had stepped back and left me to learn the weight of my own breaking. But even then, there was a steadiness I could not name— like unseen hands holding what I was too weak to carry alone. I learned faith is not always light; sometimes it is staying when everything in you wants to run. It is trusting that what feels like delay is not denial, but a shaping I cannot yet see. And slowly, without warning or spectacle, peace returned—not loudly, but like breath finding its way back to lungs that thought they were finished. So I no longer ask if You are there. I only listen— because even silence, now, feels like You speaking in a language my soul finally understands.
