When her brother is gone
When her brothers gone her life will end
He is the very one that pumps oxygen into her veins
He keeps her heart pumping
He’s the only one who allows her to go on
Permits existence to occur
Her father abuses her
His tongue is the handcuffs and the whip with nails
His words cut deep in her skin
Her mother neglects her
No shoulder to cry on
No stories to tell her
The venom covered woman stings the girls skin with a minor touch
The young brother is a drug
You expect to find relief and happiness but an overdose could end your life
For him one dose is nearly enough
But her eldest brother is always there
And when he’s gone
She’ll have to go with him
