When his heart cries.
Everyday, while I'm here,
I can't help but see you;
think of you;
wish I could touch you;
hold you;
kiss you;
tell you that I miss you;
and love you.
I feel as if you have mesmerised me and seduced me;
and I love it and I love you dearly.
But why do you have to be so far?
And why do I have to be so young?
Why are you looking for love and I lust for you;
for your presence?
I am hurt.
I have been hurt.
I tried love and it failed.
And I am scared to ever love again.
I fear the decisions that I make.
Are they right or wrong?
The consequences deprive me of my man hood and leaves me to be a lost boy in a dark valley.
And here you are;
beautiful as you can be.
You give me hope.
But, am i good enough.
A poor boy who lives with his mother;
with no car, his means of transportation is the bus and the train;
who has been enrolled in a two year college for 3 years and has 2 more to go;
who puts school before work and can't keep a job;
and is now the father of an infant child?
My bad decisions account for me being unsuccessful and I accept my consequences and understand my responsibility;
but, what is a poor lost boy like me to do?
I want to say thank you for the joy you bring me.
You speaking to me today really enlightened my soul and brightened my day;
because, I am unworthy of any of your time and you allow me to be apart of your life all day everyday.
I love you and may God bless you.
