When I Cry Myself to Numbness

I cried myself to numbness again,

With the pain of what I've lost,

Because no one can ever

Understand the agony I face;

There's no promise up ahead,

For no one knows what's

In the future anyway;

I am forced to drown in misery

Again,

With no one to see

The frantic bubbles rise,

As I sink out of sight

And into the dark.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
