When I Fall

What can I say, but the ground comes up awful quick when I fall.

It seems I am making the proverbial face plant more often than I would like.

Maybe I should stay down.

It would be easier.

Maybe it wouldn't hurt so much next time I tripped.

But the view is not so good from down here, and maybe.. if I could bear the thought of standing just a little bit taller, I might see something special.

Something that may soften the blow next time my feet give way,
