When I grew up

Growing up is hard to do but whatever obstacles we face in the journey is just the beginning.

It takes courage, confidence to grow up and stop doing the childish things that parents must yell for. They are teaching what's right and what's wrong in this difficult livelyhood. The challenges that we face, obstacles, despair, and depression, which is only making us stronger.

This journey started for me when I started 8th grade year without my sister. She transferred to another school so I had to grow up faster than expected.I didn't have my moral compass around to watch out for me while I was at school to make sure nobody bothered me but I soon realized that I didn't need any protection against kids that bothered me because they were jealous of my accomplishments. Thats what growing up taught me that we don't need any protection except ourselves.

Growing up is hard but you have to if you want to make it in this world.
