When I Grow Up
"I want to be a ballerina!" said the five-year-old girl with curly brown hair who loved the color pink.
"I want to be a lawyer," said the thirteen-year-old girl who didn't particularly care about justice but never wanted to worry about money like her parents did.
"I want to be an author," said the eighteen-year-old girl with sadness in her eyes who had dreams of changing the world with her words.
"I want to be happy," said the eighteen-year-old girl who tried so hard to succeed but ended up tripping herself at the finish line.
"I want to make people smile," said the eighteen-year-old girl who had shed so many tears to fill the ocean she was drowning in.
"I just want to live," said the eighteen-year-old who was tired of being told she was nothing.
