When I Knew

I’ve wanted to be friends with Bella for so long

She’s blonde and her sense of humor is very strong

We’ve never been very close

But for many years that’s what I’ve wanted the most

Today we were sitting in advisory

And she was telling a story

When I realized she never seems to stop complaining

And of my peace, she is very draining

Bella is rarely in a good mood

And sometimes can be overly lewd

I have other friends that make me happier than her

She is where all the drama will occur

So I decided I didn’t want her friendship like I used to

And Bella isn’t the first in this queue

I’ve begun to recognize who is most compatible with me

It has made my life easy

My new behavior is very assuring

And I take as a sign that I am maturing
