When I Look in the Mirror

I can see beauty In every person. So why is it so hard in me? Everyone says "You are your own worst enemy" But I don't think its the same For everyone else. I dont think other people Want to scratch their own face off. Pull their hair out, Or shave it bald. I dont think other people Go to the measures I do To be slightly okay with themselves Despite the consequences. How many other people Look in the mirror And cry in front of themselves Just to walk out Like it never happened. Beauty doesnt matter, I believe that. Then why cant I accept how I look? Sometimes, its not even that im ugly. I just cant fathom that that's me. I know that doesnt make sense to other people. So here's what I mean... When you say a word, Over and over, Until it doesnt sound like anything. That's what i see When i look in the mirror.
