When I Lost You

I tried to fight the pain away,

I ended up lying on the bathroom floor.

I don't know if it was true love,

But I know I couldn't have loved you more.

My friends say to keep my head up,

But I don't seem to remember how.

The world has knocked me off my feet,

And I don't know what to do now.

The world has ditched me now

And I'm lying by the door,

Hoping that you'd come back

So I don't have to hurt anymore.

There's a puddle of tears in my hands

And I want you in my arms.

My world is all gray

And I can't face anymore storms.
