When I Understand You, My World Opens...

When I see you, my world turns:

Turns from black and white to:

To vibrant colors of all shades:

Shades of blues, reds, and yellows I find within your soul.

When I touch you, my world feels:

Feels like flowing fire and water streaming:

Streaming of cool brisk airs:

Airs of the earth whirling wildly within me.

When I hear you, my world sounds:

Sounds of swelling, glorious song:

Song of the land, sea, and sky intertwined:

Intertwined with your laugh and being.

When I understand you, my world opens:

Opens to new experiences and loves:

Loves of not only you, but the things you love:

Love - not a burden, but the joy of my existence.
