When I Was A Child

Don’t tell me I’m not perfect because I know that I’m not

But living up to something sure is a lot

These high expectations are driving me wild

They make me want to go back to when I was a child

Back when everything was different

Everything was simple then

I had a smile that was genuine

Back when?

Back then.

When I was a child
