When I was younger

When I was younger everything seem so vibrant

The colors, the gifts of mother nature, and especially the people

Everything seemed to buz with joy and glee

I thought everyone was as high spirited as me

As my time on this Earth increased so did my span for comprehending

I began to see not everyone is treated with compassion or understanding

People are broken down, beaten and destroyed

All this abuse to form a new skeleton of a person

A lifeless skeleton without a breathing soul

But however they are still living but they are gone

Despite their wants they are still breathing

When I got older I realized not many people have a high spirit
