When I was younger i

When I was younger i was raped

I always wondered why it happened to me

I remembering hearing people laughing

I saw so many people watching

I felt so much pain

I wanted it to stop

I hoped that I’d get through it

I prayed to god  when it was happening

I worried that people would find out

I tried to get away

I wished for someone to help me

I said no

I believed it was my fault

I don’t understand why they chose me

I dreamed about it so many times

I never wanted this life

I see their faces everyday

They say im family

They feel guilty

They want to say sorry

They hope that i get over it

They pray for forgiveness

They worry that i will snitch

They try to make it up to me

They wish for a second chance

They believe im one of them

They don’t understand how painful it was

They dream that it never happened

They never talk about it

They see the pain in my eyes

We say it’s time to let go

We feel blame disappear

We want to let go of the pain

We hope for help along the way

We pray that it won’t happen again

We don’t worry so much anymore

We try to support each other

We know it was a mistake

We understand what happens now

We dream of success

We never judge each other anymore

We see the good in each other
