When I'm Gone

When I'm gone and far away May our memories always stay Within our minds and within our hearts Even though we are far apart When I'm gone in a distant land May you remember my tiny hand How it rested on your knee In those times you needed me When I'm gone and out of sight May I always be a light In dark alleys or in the night When you have finally lost your sight When I'm gone and far away I'll hope we'll meet again someday And share the memories in our hearts When you and I were far apart
