When I'm with You

When I'm wrapped

in the sweet embrace

of your arms,

I feel my thoughts drift

between the two of us

like smoke.

When we lay beside each other

looking into the other's eyes

I know it's love.

The way you brush hair

from my face when the sun

peaks through the windows.

when you hold me tight

and let me cry

before we say goodbye.

I know I've got my head

in the clouds but you

bring me back down to earth.

You make me love

without regrets and without

second-guessing.
