When it Rains...
When it rains,
I am always jealous of the droplets.
The journey from the clouds,
miles above,
Cannot be the easiest one,
But they nonetheless make it down to earth
And I,
a rogue droplet in a sea of achievers,
seem to be eternally stuck in the interim,
Between start and finish.
I can’t seem to make it down to earth from my cloud.
I am jealous of the rain.
