when it rains

Location

when it burns,

let it.

let the fire crawl from the depths of

your stomach and rip out

of your mouth like a

thunderstorm.

when it burns,

let it.

because the flame won’t stop flickering,

it will just burn up your insides

until you’ll a shell of a person,

a burned down house.

so when it burns,

let it.

let it burn,

but do not let it burn you.

and when it rains.

let it.

do not find shelter.

get drenched and mix the

raindrops with fat, heavy tears.

you should get swept away in the currents

that flood your earth

until you find new continents

inside yourself.

when it burns,

let it.

and when everything is done burning,

it will rain.

and when it rains,

let it.
