When I’m judged every day

When I’m judged every day evidently

And I come to think my mother was right
How could I ever live genuinely

Could I ever be loved for just one night;

When I have fears of alienation

And when my company is no longer

The ebb of an asters delegation

Leaving a lone wanderer a goner;

When I’m nothing more than an old fossil

I shall look back and see a blank slate

A fable that could’ve been a novel

A body, beetles will soon irritate.

Then I, in the midst of sleep seem to find

Their power was conceived from within my mind.
