When Love Can't Wait

Your cries made my heart confused,

scared and maybe even afraid.

My pounding heart yearns to heal your aching soul.

I cry as well because your cries are unclear.

They guide me to unknown places,

places we both do not belong.

My strength has weaken just as yours,

I yell out to you because you are behind.

You have fallen to ruins, your soul has escaped.

Your soul has lost all of its strength,

just as an innocent flower had all of its petals stepped upon.

Another poor soul.

We couldn’t lead it back.

Misguided and fragile it went.
