When man is Man

Man can't be man If boys can't be boys. Long for adventure Told not to go. Kept in safety. Keeping something inside That is Desperate to grow. And in its place only bitterness. Boys become men. Drive to succeed, Searching. For something to fill That which was lost. Incapable of dreams, Unfamiliar with Happiness. Look for fulfillment. Left with Brokenness. Man can be Man. If boys can be boys. Thirst for adventure Support from a man. Nobody telling them you can't. You can. Filled with Passion. These boys become Men. Pursuit from passion With life, satisfaction. A heart full from affirmation. No wound from childhood Lost. A Man to a wife Growing Men From his boys.

Beautiful! You have such a way with words. I also like your structure, how the words flow. Great poem. :)
