When Momma Cries

I hate seeing my momma cry

I can't just deal with it.

The pain in her eyes,

the emotion when she sighs,

she sighs,

tries and then cries.

When momma cries

the world is an abyss, the sun doesn't shine anymore

and the clouds come out for a restless play in a emotionless filled day.

When momma cries,

her tears become my nightmare.

Those nightmares chase me all the way back to my bed and back.

All night long am becoming a prisoner to those nightmares.

When momma cries,

I cry because momma's emotions are partly and rightly mine.

When momma cries,

I am nothing but a pitful creatures sentenced to an unhappy fate of depression and sadness.

So when momma smile,

the world is alright because the pain my mooma carries is the loads of the whole family.

When momma smiles,

I am alright.
