When my heart broke

Horses,

Horses have always been a massive part of my life.

My heart broke when I was fifteen and had to give my first one away,

I did not understand why it was happening to me but I was angry and broken they day I said good bye.

I was acting like a foolish child not putting her best interests at heart and not letting her go when I needed to.

My mom promised me that I would find another that I loved,

I did not want to believe her.

I was eighteen when I meet the horse that I love now,

I promised him that I will always put his needs first.

I almost lost him over Christmas and I promised my self that this time I would do better,

If it was his time to go I would let him go without making it too hard on him.

I am nineteen and I still have my special boy,

Sometimes if you let something go it will comeback to you, even if it breaks your heart to let it go.
