When a Nation Is Divided
When a nation is divided
It cannot last.
Division brews hatred
And political parties destruction.
I stand here as a citizen
My hands are up
My heart is shot
Will I ever be left in this country without fear?
I stand on the outside
You won't let me in
I thought segregation ended with the coming of a King
Why won't you save me?
Loud mouths don't stop talking
They reveal the darkness of a nation
The coming of the devil
Has already proved disastrous
I may be white but I'm okay
White, black, yellow, red
They are all just colors
All the same
