When plans go awry

When plans go awry, we feel lost

All we can think about is the cost

The plans that we made so beautifully

How did they fail so miserably?

The right questions you need to ask

Were you really up to the task?

Before you seize this moment to rue

Ask yourself, were your motivations true?

Make yourself calm and take in a breath deep

You will realize, there's no need to weep

Be relieved as it's never too late

Rejoice in bliss, now you have a clean slate

For it's perfect time to be imaginative

Why not also try to be creative?

Let's be brave and show the world our strengths

Be assured, you are destined for greater lengths

Because when plans go awry and you are left alone

In a way, you are regrown
