When she left, a tormenting feeling of unworthiness overcame him. It seemed like too much, so he bottled it up and wished it away. And when he lost a friend, he felt a horrific sense of solitude invade his soul. It seemed like too much, so he bottled it up and wished it away. He saw the war, the lives it cost, and the rage created an uproar in his heart. It seemed like too much, so he bottled it up and wished it away.
And when hope finally reached his door, and happiness was ready to hold his hand, he did what he knew how to do.
