When Sodom Met America

Often times I wonder
What Sodom was like,
How far off they really
Were from being right
.
But to my shock
I need not look far.
Piercing like the edge
Of a sharpened sword,
I find that Sodom has met America.

The dark, hollow passions
Of the flesh have overtaken
America without an ounce of shame,
And no finger to point the blame.
Men and women forsaking their
Natural affection, murder, hate...
And with that, we have practically
Sealed our own fate.
This done, when Sodom met America.

Will we go down in history as "The Second Sodom" America?
This a fate I never fathomed.
But now it seems to be reality.
Homosexuality now forced to be accepted by all,
Flags become the fault of murders,
And sin just brushed off the shoulder.
Like Sodom once destroyed by fire,
America too will some day see
It's final day wasted away in flames.
This all happened the day Sodom met America.
