When the Sower Loses His Seeds

Up! They reach in new awake Wanting to win them all Welcoming others in their sake Those who fly, slither and crawl Though dry they crumble And cold they fall Weary feet have trampled Plucked, crushed, and hauled Still they lie at his door So still they lie forevermore It streaks the ground with golden lire And turns every vain eye It walks alone, calling no sire Beats hearts enough to cry Then glass breaks the delusional fame; Lines carving the stone Another soul lost in the game Still empty lays the throne From the room, walking into dark Lone hearts call their pain alike Innocence paints the face And lets eyes wander free Gentle wods and touches pace The naïve mind to stay in glee Then from the shadows comes the one To steal thy lovely joy Forever stained has now begun New life for the toy Dull eyes now dry, and crimson hands Sentenced to try and rid they sins Knots are tied and hearts be pulled Whichever way allowed Off from what has once been told And in one second in the clouds For soon the storms that roll in Destroy your peaceful state Doomed now inside the grim Your heart forever regrets Now never to be cleared Are times ever to be feared The cry that sounds over valley's below Imprints new light in the earth Its joyous bloom makes its presence known As is meant to be of worth Darkness encloses the bright life And buries in its claws Spirit releasing the mournful life The black curtain now drawn Still they lie at his door So still they lie forevermore
